Miscarriages
Hi everyone.. I don't write on these boards that often (though I read them all the time!)
I had a miscarriage back in Oct at 11 weeks.. and another recently at 15 weeks. I was just wondering if the people who had multiple miscarriages... what was wrong.. and if they went on to deliver a healthy baby.. I am so frustrated.
TIA

Re: Miscarriages
I have also had 2 miscarriages back to back.
There are many women on these boards who have had multiple miscarriages, and gone on to have healthy, full term pregnancies.

Re: Miscarriages
I had 2 back to back as well, and am currently pregnant again. I will be 10 weeks on Monday, and my doctor says everything looks good so far. I'm still praying though! It's nerve-wracking.

Re: Miscarriages
I had 2 early miscarriages in 9 mos. Or chemicals but I prefer not to use that term. 2 years Prior to the mcs I had a baby and everything was fine. Now my re has discovered a number of issues. Good luck

Re: Miscarriages
i had 1 mc at 9 weeks in may 08 and another mc in nov 08 at 8 weeks. I went for the recurrent mc panel and have clotting issues. I am 15 weeks preg now and have been on lovenox and asprin since we found out i was preg again.
Good luck. Are u seeing a RE or is ur dr doing recurrent preg loss testing?

Re: Miscarriages
I'm currently getting all of the tests done to try to find out a reason... I don't know the results yet though. My follow up is not until another week...

So sorry for your loss..
I had 2 miscarriages @ 8 & 10 weeks back to back .
1st one - had no testing. 2nd one - chromosome issues (very common)
I'm 4.5 months pregnant again now and so far so good!
Did they test your second miscarriage ?

Re: Miscarriages
I am so sorry for your losses
I have had 2 myself - not back to back though.
I had a chemical pg at 6 weeks and then lost a pg at 16 weeks last year. The second trimester lost seems to be due to a blood clotting issue I have (but in between this I did successfully carry to 37 weeks). The blood clotting disorder was discovered by a fluke in some blood work otherwise we would have never known
All the best
