Maybe? Update in original post

Alright, now, I'm a total doubting Thomas BUT I tested this morning at 11DPO (couldn't help it, I guess I like to torture myself) and the FAINTEST OF FAINT lines came up. It came up right away so it's not an evaporation line. Here's why I'm doubting it: I spotted a little on Wednesday and a little more yesterday. From what I've read, implantation spotting is only for one day. I am going to be a paranoid mess checking the toilet paper every time I go to the bathroom today. On the bright side, my temps are still high. I feel like maybe "it" did happen (I can't say it) but I think my lining is shedding too early. If so, that is so depressing and I'm on the phone with my doc ASAP. At least now I have the test as proof.
I just don't believe it's true so I don't want to say anything just yet to DH. Do you think it's bad if I don't tell him yet? He'll be crushed if I say something and then it's not true. He doesn't "get" all of this the way we do, so he wouldn't get the reasoning why it didn't work. Am I a bad DW? You can be honest. WWYD? I'm not going to see him this morning so it's not like I'm really keeping something from him, yet.

Update: Ok so I tested again today at 12 DPO. I tested yesterday with a dollar tree and then tested again this morning with a dollar tree. Again, I got a FAINT line. Well, insane TTC person that I am, I tried with a different test again this morning (the Target Early Response) and that blue line is not faint, it's definitely a line! So, I decided to tell DH yesterday morning because I decided I didn't want to have to go through it alone. You take the good and the bad, right? When I woke him up to come look at the line with me, he shot out of bed and said, "what is it, a bug? you want me to kill a bug?" It made me laugh so hard!! I said, "No, something much better than that!" We're both excited, but on pins and needles at the same time. I'm hoping to get past tomorrow which is the day AF is due. Then I'll feel a little calmer I think. I'll keep you ladies posted. Cross your fingers that this guy decides to stick!

I just wanted to say that I also got a very faint line at 12 DPO and I also had some spotting for more than one day. I am now 24 DPO and still have a BFP, and have my first doctors appointment next week! Since I found out I was pregnant I have also had other days of spotting, but was told to not be too concerned unless it was a lot of red blood with cramping. I think you have a shot!!

It is very very normal to spot a bit when you get your BFP and actually at any time usually in the first trimester...some women even describe it as a light period....I would say the line means you are pregnant!!!! Congrats!!!

I would def. tell DH and the doctor appointment will confirm pregnancy. I would not worry about the little bit of spotting...you will know if something is wrong. If bleeding starts to get heavy accompanied by cramping is when there could be a problem, but doesn't sound like that! Relax and be happy...I'm sure all will be great!

I think it's normal- don't worry! I didn't tell my DH for a couple of days when I got my first faint line, either. But if you are gettting a line, it's safe to say you are PREGNANT!

I have a friend who spotted almost her entire pregnancy, so I don't think it's that abnormal if you're spotting.

In my opinion, TTC is a journey that you do together with your husband. I wouldn't conceal a BFP. Even if it failed, I wouldn't want to hide that either.
I think he would want to be part of this, you can be excited together.

It's sweet you want to protect him.

I think the spotting is normal

I think it sounds like it's a BFP

I would take another test and then tell him!

OMG congrats!

I wouldn't worry about the spotting. I have heard that it's fairly normal to spot early on in pregnancy.

As for me, I'd tell DH - we have experienced this whole journey together and whatever way things turn out, I'd need his love and support!

i COMPLETELY get your nervousness. It's totally normal.

A close friend of mine had spotting for 2 full days and then got her BFP...so if you saw a line my love - YOU SAW A LINE...

If it will make you feel better - get a digital today and use it. Seeing that WORD PREGNANT will make you feel soooooooooooooooooooo much better about.

I swear, if i didn't have 6 (no joke) of my closest friends with me on IM that night, looking at my photos of the tests, I wouldn't have believed it either!!!!

and no, I don't think you are bad wife for keeping it to yourself for a day or two until you are comfortable with the fact that it is indeed a BFP...I completely understand that you don't want DH to be let down and disappointed if it's not.
Definitely take a digital and let us know what happens!

Looks like BFP! Go to the store. Get a digital test and there will be no mistake.

My line was faint at 10 DPO as well!

Take another test!!!

I had a super faint line. I didn't believe it. I went out and bought two brands of tests and drank a ton of water. The line was darker on the second test I took.
