Just got BFP about an hour ago! MY hands are shaking! I always said I'd wait till the first tri was over before I told anyone except DH and now I want to shout it from the rooftops!!! Any advice on keeping my mouth shut?!?!

ITS SO HARD, I swore I'd wait too, but I just had to tell a few people!!! My hands shook for days, POAS'd about 5 times and I'm amazed any hit the target!!! Its just awesome so don't worry if you let it slip to a few people a little early!!!!

well, let it settle in for a bit and when you and DH calm down, discuss when you'll tell the people closest to you.....
I had a bleeding incident at 5 weeks (everything was fine in the end), and frankly found it comforting to be able to talk to mom about it and have her support...

oooh, if THAT'S the case... get off the computer and find a cute way to give him the good news! flowers with a test stick in them, buy a dad-related bib and give it to him.... and if possible, tape his reaction

Great advice...I am so embarrassed because I normally keep track of my periods and I didnt last month so I could be like 4 weeks or a minute pregnant!! My dad is retiring on July 3rd and we are supposed to go to a get together at his job...maybe that would be a good time! I know, I am getting ahead of myself, please have patience with me, I am in shock lol!!!

I am embarrassed to admit that I told him over the phone...I SUCK... I know... but I couldnt wait!!!
To tell you the truth we were having a talk about our finances before and I was worried he'd be hesitant about the news, and he is ECSTATIC!!!
(Not ecstatic enough not to finish his golf game though LOL!!!!)

I'm sure his game sucked after you spoke to him because he couldn't concentrate because of all the excitement!!! We are all so happy for you!!! So are you going to be a Feb mommy too like me??? Join the thread so we can go through this wonderful journey together....yahhhhh!!!!
