Maternity underwear spinoff
So many are willing to spend extra $$ on buying bigger sizes (which you will continue doing all the way up til the end-BTW) rather than just breaking down and buying maternity panties.
WHY?! OMG- I freaking LOVED mine. I started wearing them once I grew out of my regular thongs and wore the SAME ONES all the way until the end. They are MADE for a pregnant body- regular ones generally aren't.
I totally loved what my DH affectionately called my "Hulk Hogans."

Re: Maternity underwear spinoff
my belly isn't that big yet (neither is my butt ) but the underwear i have from VS is pretty stretchy and fits under my belly, and they are super comfortable. i won't buy maternity panties unless i am desperate
ETA: i only buy the ones that don't have a waistband, they are the most comfortable for me (they usually have lace or something at the waist instead of an elastic band)

To be honest, it wasn't a $$ thing, the hanes just looked more comfy.
They are still big on me, so I think I'll be able to make it to at least month 8. (I'm 25w)

Re: Maternity underwear spinoff
I am still wearing my regular underwear, same size as before. I could be totoally wrong here because I never researched it, but maternity underwear seems like it would be so huge & not low rise enough.

I think it depends on which ones you buy. Old Navy has low rise maternity thongs and bikini briefs. Very similiar to their regular ones just more strech to them and cut a little different.

I never needed maternity underwear. I wear low rise thongs and I just continued to wear those.

Re: Maternity underwear spinoff
I love maternity underwear because they go over my belly. I don't like the low rise ones bc they cut into my stomach.
I love my granny panties.

I LOoOooOOooOOOOVED my huge-@ss granny-panties. They were SO flippin' comfy.
Poor DH though- he was horrified and would do wrestling poses whenever he saw me put on my "Hulk Hogans". Image Attachment(s):

My belly was huge, but I just wore my VS ones until the end. They were very comfy and I never had the reason to spend money on maternity ones. Then I bought big ones for after my c-section.
