Maternity Underwear?

I'm still wearing my regular underwear. Should I be wearing maternity underwear and if so where can I get it reasonable? I'm 17 weeks.

I lived in Victorias Secret briefs and they were great. They were the "granny style" ones but I loved them - they were wide enough to cover my ever expanding butt too!

I just got bigger ones when I was about your point in the pregnancy but eventually I broke down and bought maternity undies. Once I started wearing them I bought more. My belly got to a point where the elastic waists were just cutting into me too much, even when I tried wearing them lower.

I bought maternity underwear at Old Navy. I think I paid $12 for a 3 pack of under the belly thongs.

I am not sure if the briefs are the same price, but they can't be much more expensive, if at all.

ETA: I bought two 3 packs of maternity underwear just in case I would need them, but I have been wearing my regular low rise thongs all along, and at 31 weeks they still fit.

I never got maternity underwear. I bought one size up in regular VS underwear and can still wear them now.

I bought maternity bikinis at Walmart. They rocked!!!!!!!!!! They were under my belly. And I had a huge kid, so my belly was large!!!!!!

I love the Old Navy Maternity underwear. They are very comfortable. I bought a package from Motherhood and hated them.

I never bought any maternity or larger underwear. I'm 33 weeks. I'm at the point now where I do think I need some though, might be just a little bit comfier. I think I'll try Old Navy.

I bought maternity underwear at Motherhood and really did not like them. So, now I just keep buying Hanes Her Way, just getting bigger sizes.

i'm 22 wks and last month i found some cotton stretch boy cut briefs in walmart. they are in a 3 pack for like $4-5 i think. i just bought a larger size, and they are really low and comfy with know band to annoy my tummy.

Thanks everyone - I think I will just go up a size in my Victoria's Secret!!! I'm glad to hear many of you did not go to the maternity underwear.

i never ended up wearing maternity underwear, although a few of my smaller pairs don't fit.

When I was pregnant with DS (and I am hoping with this pregnancy as well), I never wore maternity underwear. I continued to wear my things throughout the pregnancy because they were comfortable for me.

I wore regular underwear for quite some time (even into my 20th week) and slowly incorporated maternity ones.

I bought hanes tagless briefs in a bigger size. I got them from Target - 6 pairs for 9.99.
Soo comfy!!

I'm still wearing my regular underwear (I wear lowrise boy shorts)...I'm 29wks. If you're still fitting comfortably in your regular underwear, keep on wearing them.

I wore my regular thongs throughout my pregnancy up until I was in the hospital and thought my water broke so they made me take it off so I could put on their mesh ones with a pad. the kind I wear is lacy around the leg so it is stretchy and grew with me. Plus it was low cut so it went under my belly. I bought some hanes briefs and bikinis from target for after giving birth and have been wearing them since.
