Massapequa & Alec Baldwin
Did anyone ever see that episode of Friends where Alec Baldwin was Phoebe's boyfriend? They went out to Massapequa for Monica's parents anniversary.
Anyway, since I don't live in NY, I had never heard of Massapequa before that episode. Now everytime I read Massapequa on this board, I hear it in Alec Baldwin's voice.
Also, well known fact. Alec Baldwin was born in Massapequa.

I know the Baldwins are from massapequa. Also the show Growing Pains was 'From' Massapequa

My BIL is from Massapequa & used to go to camp w/ the Baldwins. He hated their entire family said they were very stuck up even back then.

My best friend went to school with the Baldwins, one of her older sisters dated a "lesser" Baldwin back then. She said the same thing. She had some stories from when Alec was married to Kim Basinger and he would come home to see him mom, he's such a pig.

Funny Story - My friends dad owns an oil company and he kind of ran a boarding house in the building where he had the oil company. Anyway, Billy Baldwin rented a room for about six months, stopped paying rent and skipped out. So - he owes my friends dad about $300 from 20 years ago and has never offered to pay it back or just sent the money.

Growing pains was from Huntington. (they actually used the name Walt Whitman HS in one episode, but they changed the name of the HS after that)

I went to Massapequa High School and yes the Baldwins are from here. I believe they still raise a lot of money for the school.

I saw the episode the other day where they talked about being from mass and talked about the massapequa mall (sunrise)

Haha - All the stars hail from Massapequa, infamous and otherwise
The Baldwin's father was my dad's history teacher in HS.
Jerry Seinfeld is in my dad's yearbook (freshman when my dad was a senior)
And my Aunt graduated with the Buttafuco's
In the area where they usually have activities, etc. it said "I love Mary Jo"
