Manhattan pier

I "may" be bringing my truck and parking it at the pier for our cruise. Is this an easy process with 2 small kids? Ive only parked at the florida pier and it was across from the boat. How far is it from the actual boat and is it an easy process?

Re: Manhattan pier

Its easy They have an elevator that brings you from the parking to the check in area. We drop of our luggage first then head to the parking!

Re: Manhattan pier

I want to say it was like $30 a day or something close to that. We parked and took the elevator down, dropped our luggage off and then got on line to check in. The whole process probably took and hour and a half.

I think they just raised it to 35 bucks a day, as per cruise critic.

I was reading on there that parking is first come first serve and they have a right to send you to a whole different parking lot. Has this been an issue? I think I would die if I showed up and had an issue.

Also, I think when we park in Fl it is max like 15/day...If I remember correctly. Its nuts! So its 35x7 even though last day is technically a few hrs, correct?
