I couldn't sleep last night. They gave this series away. Errors and their lack of offense amongst other things. Hopefully next year will be our year.

Stupid decision by Collins letting Harvey continue in the 9th. It's a must win game, not mid July and you can't let your pride get in the way. Game would've been over in the 9th. Shoulda, woulda, coulda. Ugh. SIGH

I can't blame Collins for putting Harvey back in the 9th though... he was pitching an amazing game, Harvey was arguing his way back in, the fans were calling for him. He should have pulled him after he walked the first guy though... but you're right, coulda shoulda woulda...

They should have never had a conversation with Harvey about pulling him. That shook him up and he started to lose it. They should have shut their mouths and left him in.
Three games we had an three we lost...I am disgusted.
Young team though, so hopeful for the future.
I cant take the stress anymore

True. That's another way to look at it & yes Harvey did wonderful. But in a must win World Series game, that was taking a big chance. Maybe give him the chance but once the guy got on base, pull him out!! My opinion but wrong to have waited til a run scored to pull him out. That put the closer in a smaller margin of error position.

I do not have the balls to disclose how much halloween candy I ate. LOL
It was sad to see that happen. I was bummed. But the Royals were the better team. They out played them in every game except for Friday. They do not give up. They earned it. The Mets are a young team. Next year will be better.

I had no doubt the Royals were going to win the World Series... From game one it was obvious they were a better team. But to lose leads and lose games from baserunning errors and throwing errors is just frustrating.
Onto next year!!

Bottom line. A good team makes you pay for mistakes
Base running,throwing errors,leads. You give them the extra out. They make you pay
My only complaint is bring in plawecki. Everyone running on D'arnaud. Every single is a double.
Great season but yet again the bitter taste of being a mets fan left in my mouth
And as for Harvey. They shouldn't have said anything. He goes back out. No question. He gets he runner on. Then ou take him

The whole thing was a shame.
BUT they had a great season. I genuinely enjoyed watching them, attending many games, etc.
And the post season up til they got to the WS was a joy to watch too.
So, fond memories for me. Out of alllllll the teams in the league they were better than all but one. That's something. And with a teeny tiny budget and a bunch of guys who are young and thirsty, get paid next to nothing and truly enjoy playing. So that's nice to see.
Enjoy Palm Springs, guys!
