Although the flashback/flash forward confused the h ell out of me for a minute.
ed: yeah I assumed half was a flash back and the other half was a flash forward.

Jin must have had a flashback-- I mean, the only thing I can think of that dates his scenes is the cell phone. That was an older looking phone-- and I think he was working for Sun's dad.
ETA-- yes, Mr. Paik is Sun's dad

how can u justify jin dying in the crash, but sun getting pregnant on the island?
there has to be some kind of descrepency in time....
much like how its weurd nobody has questioned kate being aarons mom

Jin probably stayed on the island and they are just covering for him because everyone else that stayed on the island were presumed to be dead.

He's wasn't on the manifest, so he's not one of the six. The sixth has yet to be revealed.
