Looks like I may be an August mommy.
I'm due September 20, but have been in and out of the hospital for the past two weeks. Yesterday afternoon I took my blood pressure at home and it was 175/115.
I have been admitted into the hospital and really thought I was going home this morning. I have felt fine all weekend. But preeclampsia is setting in and, although it's not official, they are thinking of holding me here in antepardom til I deliver. Ugh. They have mentioned delivering me tomorrow or Wednesday, although I wish it could hold off another week. Just hope my little girl doesn't go to NICU.

This is what I'm confused on. I've gone down a bit, but the protein showed in my 24 hour urine. They were talking about finding the line between her safety (keep her in longer) and my safety (deliver now). So they felt I might be able to hang on another week or two. Ugh. So lost right now.

Your BP reading was on par to the readings I was getting, even while on the highest dosage of Labetalol.
I ended up delivering at 37 weeks and he was happy, healthy and had no NICU stay!

I'm 36 weeks. They have been hoping I can make it to 38, but it is looking less and less possible. Only time will tell.
