Another Hanuaer patient here. Dr. Dolisi did my c-section - I cannot say enough good things about them.
Hanauer takes her time with every patient - you never feel like she has a waiting room full of people waiting for her. She never rushes you and will go over every little concern that you have.
You are in great hands with the both of them!

I LOVED my OB group. In fact, I even contemplated flying back to NY to deliver #3!!!

I've seen all of the doctors in the practice and they are PHENOM. They've always answered my questions, returned my phone calls and I never had to worry about anything. They also have great hours. And I've never had to wait to see any of the doctors.

I go here as well, Dr. Bernstein delivered both of my girls (first time he wasn't even on call, cancelled his day and followed me to the hospital after I had gotten to his office and was 7cm)...
I love this practice, all the doctors are amazing...

I absolutely love my OB! He is located in North Babylon [right off the Southern State.] Dr. Kiran Trivedi. He treats you like a person and really listens to any questions and concerns you may have. He is the best Ob/Gyn I have ever had!!

Gabi took the words right out of my mouth. With Dr. Trivedi you are a patient/friend not an insurance claim. He gives you plenty of time to answer all your questions and the entire staff is wonderful. Love him!
I'm not preggo but I'm always looking to refer patients to Dr. Trivedi, I love him that much! He's an amazing dr.!

Best of Luck and I switched Dr's too after a chemical preg to this practice and I feel really confident and happy with University Plaza. Good luck!

I use Dr. John Gomes and he is terrific. He is located in Garden City. I had some complications during my pregnancy...blood pressure and a 2 vessel umbilical cord. He took everything very seriously. I had sonograms at almost every visit and I went every 2 weeks up until about 30 weeks and then I went every week sometimes twice. He listened to every concern I had and he or the nurse got back to me right away if I called with a question. I was put on modified rest at 31 weeks and the nurse called me every day to see how I was feeling and to see if I had any questions or concerns. I felt that he was very proactive about doing things or having tests done to prevent further complications.
Good luck with everything!!! I hope your next experience it much better.

Dr. Davidson from Pro health care. It is 2 proheath in Lake Success. There is ALWAYS someone to talk to. If it is something that the nurse can help with they call if not your Dr. or the Dr. on call will call you back. When I had my MC I spoke with the dr on call and she was sooo calming even though we both knew what the end result was. My reg dr and her both called me the next day to check up and take me through the next steps. I like the whole organization. there is a pediatrician, general physician and a bunch of other specialites all in the same building. I love it. My kids go to the pediatrician downstairs and they too have like 4 pediatricians there so you can pick who you like, and all the nurses call u from there with basic kid problems.

My doctor is Dr. Jessica Jacob. She is located on New Hyde Park Rd. in New Hyde Park. Her number is 516-488-8145. She is a single practice but she is always there for her patients and never misses a delivery. I have been going to her for 11 years and I LOVE her. She is an incredible doctor and a very well known and respected doctor by many other doctors on long island. I can't say enough about her. Good luck to you in picking a new doctor

His nurses are wonderful and he has a really nice way about him...
LOVE him!!!! He delivered both of my children. I had horrible pg both times and he was so wonderful!!!!!

I go to Dr. Brandon in RVC and I love him!! I ended up switching to him when I was 12 weeks+ PG with my DS.
I go to him too and I love him! He's always gentle and caring. Dr. Mark Brandon is in the Ryan Medical Arts Building behind Mercy Hospital.

I agree with the ladies. I was in teh same predicament as you and I SWITCHED!
Dr. Hanauer is by far so friendly and understanding. I'm on my 38th week now and I switched not too long ago at 34-36 weeks.
I saw Dr. Dolisi last nite and they both are very good.

This is really out of the way, but NY Presbyterian- Cornell (in the city on 68th street) was named the best OB/GYN hospital in NY according to NY magazine. I had a terrible OB when I miscarried last year, she misdiagnosed me with an ectopic even though all the reports said this was unlikely...rushed me into surgery ended up doing an invasive surgery because she couldn't find the ectopic only to end up telling me "sorry its a fibroid". It was a terrible experience and I wanted to make sure that when we tried to concieve that I was seeing the best of the best. I go to DR. Geeta Sharma who is amazing (she is a high risk specialist) and even when I had light spotting in at 4 weeks they took me seriously and rushed me in for bloodwork and a sono-same day. I highly recommend them even if its a trek
