Long time lurker...
Long time lurker, but first time posting! So excited to start the TTC process.
I just went off BCP so am nervous about my cycle/regulating, but DH and I are so excited to start trying next month.
Any words of advice? I thought I remembered seeing a great post by maybemommy with lots of details but i cant find it now.

Welcome! We will help you out in any way we can! I'm not sure which thread you were talking about but there's one from maybeamommy that might be helpful here
I would also say buying the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility is a big help and will give you direction in the whole TTC process. Good luck and here's some

Welcome! Best advise I was told is to wait a month TTC after getting off BCP b/c it takes a little while for your cycle to becomes normal. Good luck!!!

Why ob/gyn didn't mention waiting--is there a benefit to waiting, or is it just that your body may not be regulated? From reading on here it looks like some people might be very fertile right after going off BCP.
It's all so confusing!

It's all so confusing!
OMG! Believe me... I know. DH and I started trying in April after I got off the pill. It took me a month or two to get into a normal cycle. I think for everyone it's different. Some pple say you're so fertile after getting off BCP and others (like me) are taking longer to get a regular cycle. The other girls on here know a lot more than me. I haven't gotten into the technical part yet with tests and temp, but I might be soon. I'm still learning some of the acronyms.
