Re: Lila or Lyla?
I'm biased, as my DD is Lyla. She gets a lot of compliments on her name

Re: Lila or Lyla?
Thank you so much for all your replies! Looks like Lila is the front runner. I was just concerned that people wouldn't know how to pronounce it correctly.

Lila or Lyla?
What do YOU like? Your child so you should love it. Who cares what anyone else thinks I like both!

Lila or Lyla?
Crashing because I have a Lila :). We occasionally get a mispronunciation, but most people get it right. And she gets compliments all the time on her name!

I happen to like Lila better, but I was a little worried about the mispronunciation. But it seems like most people know the right way

Re: Lila or Lyla?
IMHO your child will go through life correcting everyone how to pronounce her name with lila.
To me that's like sounds like "lil abner. If I saw that name I would think:
L-ill-uh
Its beautiful and I love the spelling, but she will be correcting everyone on her pronunciation for the rest of her life.

Ita. Lyla is sure fire understood. I thought Lila was like Mila. Most people knew what you meant but definitely enough didn't that your DD will always be correcting people.
