I say Lyla because I always want to pronounce Lila like Mila (since I'm more familiar with the name Mila). I've never heard Lila/Lyla in real life and I had to ask how it's supposed to be pronounced. 'Lyla' would make me say it correctly.

Totally agree, I was thinking these are two different names/pronunciations. I like Lyla better than Lila (Lee-lah)

Interesting! I never would have thought to pronounce Lila as Lee-lah! I've always heard it pronounced Lie-lah.
