 To be quite honest, today I got the weirdest mixed message- please girls tell me if this sounds normal:
Me: so do you think my ER will be Monday or Tuesday?
Dr: ehhh probably the later part of next week.
Me: really? I thought I was progressing well
Dr.: You are, but we have some follicles that need to mature and catch up to the others- we don't want to retrieve just 2. In addition, it has to be a fine balance between your eggs and estrogen. We will fine-tune it to make sure it's exact.
Me: 
Ok, while it is not bad news by any means, I feel that after all of the positive feedback this week about progressing so well, adjustments in the stims, and finally seeing my 20 follies, it was like a letdown kinda. I think the hormones are getting to me. Am I losing my mind? Does it sound like they screwed w/my stims too much in either direction?

I'm printing this out so when the shoes come, I can tell DH "hey, the cat made me do it!" 
I'm eating Irish soda bread. With butter. and I might go find more carbs to wash it down with.

Remember the makerana dance from like.. i dunno 10+ years ago? ... Do that.. (but don't wiggle your butt around too much toward the end, you don't wanna shake the embies)

I did my 2nd ivf cycle at North Shore. Since i have a history of high E2 levels they watched me very closely. As my E2 krept up they had me coast at the end. I got a bfp with that cycle. I was scared to coast but it worked for me.
How many days have you been on stims? I they cannot do the retrieval on thursday, they will do it when your e2 is at a level they like and will hopefully allow you to do a fresh transfer. Wishing you lots of luck. I know how frustrating it can be.

I made chocolate. Ate chocolate. with carbs. I freaked out, cried, screamed and played angry birds on DH's phone. you should try it!
