Let's Talk Milk

Just wondering - what milk do you give or plan on giving your DCs?

2%? Whole? Soy? Rice? Organic? etc.

Whole Organic Grass Fed Milk - ideally...

I think if they have no allergies they need the fat of whole milk.

DS drinks Oak Knoll goat milk. If he were drinking cow milk, I would give him Natural by nature organic grass fed whole milk.

Same here! We're a 1% household, DD just switched to 2% and will ultimately drink 1% when the ped. says it's ok.

Whole milk for DD till she was 18 months. Ped took her off whole and she's now on 1% (what we drink) since she's on the bigger side.

DD is 4.5 and I still give her whole milk. Shes not the biggest eater so she needs the extra calories.

I went from formula to full fat for a year to 2%. From what I understand, full fat in recommended until 2yrs old for brain development.

I'm in the minority bc I took DS off formula at 10.5 months & he has been on 2% milk since then...I plan on switching him to 1% once he hits 2

Same here, but my DD is on Alimentum for a milk protein sensitivity so we will have to see what she can tolerate....
