let's talk diarrhea... (EBF baby)
my 3.5mo dd has had diarrhea for a few days with no other symptoms. she does not seem to be bothered by it at all but it's bothering me.
i am EBF and haven't changed my diet at all. not sure what to think... could it be the heat? any opinions? i'm gonna call the doctor in the morning, but hoped you awesome ladies might have something to offer!

I'd go with teething...C has had diarrhea on and off for a few days and then it just goes away...Ped said it comes from the extra saliva created while teething. And she's at the point where teething drool should be starting.

yes, she has been drooling a LOT and gumming everything for a few weeks now. maybe you're right!

silly question for you: how do you know it is diarrhea? DS is EBF and his poop is always pretty much liquid. I can never really tell the difference...

not a silly question at all! when she got two vaccines last month my ped said she might get diarrhea, and i asked the same thing!!
you will SO be able to tell. it looks like the breast milk came right out but with a normal poop color. i saw it come out too and it was all liquid. you can also hear it, its a different sound. she started leaking out of her diapers as well.
