Let's talk breast pumps
If you plan on BFing, which pump did you register for? I will be a SAHM and not sure how much I will be pumping, but would like to always have a frozen supply for when DH feeds and if anyone babysits. Any recommendations? I've currently got the Medela Swing on my registry.

Re: Let's talk breast pumps
I am not exactly sure what my plan is yet. But I think I am going to try breastfeeding/pumping for the 2 months that I will be home (baby due 7/8 and will have to return to work in September) so I think I may just look into renting a pump from the hospital for since I will only be doing it for a short period of time but my friend highly recommended the Medela PIS if you plan on breastfeeding/pumping--not sure if that was the same one you already had.

Re: Let's talk breast pumps
I have the Medela In Style on my registry. Its a little $$, but it has good reviews for the most part.

I registered for the Medela Pump in Style. However, it might be cheaper to get a pump from our hospital, and we might do that.

Re: Let's talk breast pumps
I used the Medela PIS Advanced with my DD for 8 months and will use it again with DS. I absolutely loved this pump, no problems or complaints whatsoever.

Same here...pumped exclusively for 10 months, and will use it again with #2.

Re: Let's talk breast pumps
While on this topic...can anyone tell me if the drop-ins are compatible with Medela pumps? I thought I read someone saying they pumped and used drop-ins??? would you just pour breast milk into the drops? Not sure how this works, but I think I would rather use the drop ins than the Medela bottles....any thoughts??
TIA
