let's check in

I'll be 20 weeks on Friday and I'm up about 10 pounds. So far I'm still feeling pretty good- though I did notice that my feet were kind of swollen last week. Chat Icon The weekend heat was killing me and it's only going to get worse. Chat Icon I can't wait! Chat Icon

I'm 16 and 1/2 weeks, up 12 pounds and feeling great! I have finally hit the famed 2nd trimester energy boost -- no more nausea, no more in bed before 9. Chat Icon Chat Icon This is great! Saw the baby yesterday at my appointment and everything looks good!

I am 31 weeks up 16 lbs, feeling good and the baby is moving all over the place. This weekend my feet started to swell and the baby is laying on the nerves in the legs and I get pains in my legs if I sit to long but other than that I am feeling really good.

Re: let's check in

almost 30 weeks, and i'm up 19lbs. I was feeling great, but in the past two weeks or so I haven't been feeling as good. Sleeping is inconsistant, been getting BH, and i threw up the other day for the first time since the m/s. OMG and the heartburn is becoming a b!tch.

I'm 14 weeks and I feel good but a little tired. I've gained 3 pounds. Sometimes I get that insomnia at night for an hour or so and I can't go back to sleep. I never really had morning sickness during the first trimester just felt tired but yesterday and today, I have the worst heartburn ever. I called the DR's office today and they said I can use Tums. I'm going to buy it in a few.
Other than that...doing great.

I'm 28 & 1/2 weeks and feeling pretty good. My back has been hurting and commuting into NYC everyday has really started taking it's toll. I'm going to start working from home in July. I'm up 17 pounds and my doctor excepts me to gain around 30.

I will be 21 weeks on Sat. Gained 10.5 lbs so far.
I feel really good, no major complaints...yet Chat Icon
No food adversions, trying to exercise and stay healthy.
I feel big though. Just had the Level II, baby looked great, we didn't find out the gender- the baby didn't want us to know. Finishing up our registry.
Painted the nursery, got the furniture delivered and set up. Waiting on the glider, it should come in July Chat Icon

Re: let's check in

I'll be 21 wks on Saturday and am feeling really well lately... the best I've felt in this pregnancy so far. I go for my monthly appointment a week from today so I'll see how much more weight I've gained (as of mid-May I had gained approx. 11 pounds)

Had our Level 2, its a Chat Icon and all looks well

The heat REALLY made me Chat Icon this past weekend, and I feel hot all the time! I'm starting to think that the commute back/forth into NYC is going to be a killer this summer but what can ya do. I also have been a little dizzy and been getting leg cramps so I'm upping my water intake bigtime.

Best of all, I am FINALLY feeling little bubbly taps and ever so slight movement from the peanut, which is super cool Chat Icon

I am 14 weeks and still feel sort of Chat Icon The nausea is better but it still comes and goes. I guess I am lucky that I haven't thrown up. Also, if I don't eat raisin bran every day, there are consequences!!

We saw the baby moving around at our 12 week sono- now I just have to decide if I want the AFP test at my next appointment.

Can't wait until week 20 to see if it is a Chat Icon or Chat Icon ! Chat Icon

Re: let's check in

I will be 16 weeks tomorrow. As of two weeks ago, I was up 10 lbs. I feel pretty good, despite terrible pregnancy related back pain. I see a physical therapist twice a week and it seems to manage the pain.

The heat is really Chat Icon but that could be because I hate the summer to begin with.

I go back to the Dr. in two weeks and hopefully I will be able to find out then if I am having a Chat Icon orChat Icon and I don't have to wait until my Level II (which my Dr. hasn't even mentioned Chat Icon )

ETS: No more m/s but still very tired. In bed by 10:00 and that's pushing it!

Hi Felicia, just wanted to let you know that I commuted ALL summer last year (LIRR and three stops on the gnarley subway) and it wasn't too bad until around 33-34 weeks+ which was end of July/beginning of August...at that point you are just large and hate everyone and everything...I did it though right up until the end at 37 weeks 4 days...I literally took a train to right near my dr office and then he sent me to the hospital to be delivered! I was hypertensive though and probably would have commuted that whole next week before I went out on leave...

I took a day here and there when it was really hot and worked from home...I just learned not to push myself Chat Icon

Commuting stinks...Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: let's check in

9 weeks today and still a little nauseaous and very tired- it doesn't help that my job is a stress box and we are in the process of moving to a hotel until we find our house.

Scheduled the CVS today- I have to take off a morning for the genetic testing and then on the second to last day of school I have the procedure. I will miss the last day since I will be on bedrest for 24 hours- I am so bummed since I lose a sick day for a not- real day. We have a meeting until 12 and then a luncheon at one of my favorite restaurants that I will miss. But they were adamant about the bed rest to prevent miscarriage.

Just about 8 weeks and I'm doing okay. I have been really struggling to stay awake for more then 5 hrs at a time. My stomach started feeling very unsettled this past week, but is doing better today. I haven't gained any weight, but my usually flat stomach is definately poochy which is driving me slightly crazy.Chat Icon Had my first appoinment yesterday and saw the baby's heartbeat. Soooo cool!!!!

Thanks for sharing your experience, Kelly and for feeling my pain Chat Icon Chat Icon

I know that barring any complications, I am stubborn and will be working up until the bitter end, s*cky commute or not Chat Icon But I'm glad to hear that its manageable and I'm sure that I will be OK, as long as I keep myself hydrated of course. Commuting does stink no matter what the sceanrio, but after 15 yrs of doing it, I'm ready! Chat Icon

I am 36 1/2 weeks. Starting to believe everyone that said the last month is the hardest! Went to the doc last night and she said everything is still sealed up tightly and no effacement. Baby is still high. When she felt my tummy, her eyebrows went up and she said "feels like we got a big baby on our hands"!!!!!! Great I am 5'2" and petite - how is this one working outChat Icon , lol.

27 weeks today and feeling pretty well. Still down 7 pounds from early Pg - doctor is not concerned as the babies are growing well and right on schedule. Failed the 1 hour glucose test, go for the 3 hour one on Friday. Ankles seem to swell alot with the heat - i don't know how I'll make it till August.
