Left Out Because Not PG

2 of my close friends are PG and we do everything toghether. they both know that I'm TTC. this week i found out that they are hanging out just the two of them. i really feel because they want to talk PG talk and don't want to rub it in my face. i'm hurt though. just because i want a baby so bad doesn't mean i can't be happy for them. i feel excluding me is just pointing out the fact tham i'm not PG. am i being too senstive? would you feel this way?

i would think that they don't want to talk about pregnancy in front of you to make you feel down since you're TTC... but i would just explain to them that you'd like to be included and don't mind being around them when you they talk about their pregnancies...

I think they are probably trying to be thoughtful and good friends. I wouldn't get upset but I would talk to them about it.

When I was told I had to wait 6 months to a year to TTC my friend who was pregnant was afraid to hang out with me because she didn't want to upset me. I had to explain to her that I was happy for her and wanted to be involved in her life and there for her pregnancy.

you're right. i know they mean well. i just don't want people to walk on eggshells with me.

They probably don't want to talk about the pregnancy infront of you not they are trying to exclude you. These good friends are trying to watch out for your feelings. Trust me I have been there! I want this so bad that I feel like it's never gonna happen. I tend to feel left out when friends talk about their kids and being a mommy. So I completely understand where you are coming from!
