For those of you who have been following my Assistant updates....
She was in my office this morning, as was the friend I mentioned above, and I asked the assistant if she quit smoking yet. she goes, "no, but my dad said he'd pay for a vacation for me if i did." So i said, "so lie" she goes, "i can't lie.. i feel bad." The friend goes, "you had no problem lying about those scallops making you sick".....
good times...

There is this other sales girl who has the most obnoxious laugh you've ever heard in your life and she laughs at EVERYTHING!!! I call her giggles.. behind her back obviously.. so the assistant sent her an email from my computer and goes...
"giggles.. brooke wanted to know...."
lol i had to make up this whole story about how she accidentally pasted a word from im into email...

It just keeps getting better...
So one of my co-workers (who has turned into a close friend) is in my office talking to me about her latest guy drama. She's going on and on about whether or not she likes him.. yada yada.. said assistant walks in and joins the convo. Starts talking about how guys are crazy.. and her exbf is one of the craziest!!
Here's the convo... all while I'm eating a salad....
Assistant: Uck, guys are CRAZY!
Friend: totally
Assistant: guess what happened with my ex last night...
Me: here we go...
Friend: tell me! (she gets the biggest kick out of her)
Assistant: so he comes over last night, puts his d*ck in me and has a panick attack.
Me: (lettuce now about to come out of my nose)
Friend: what do you mean he has a panick attack?
Assistant: he has a panick attack, lost his hard on, fell out and left.
Me: I gotta take this call (thank god my mother calls me 100 times a day.. I needed her out of my office after that one!)
I'm at the point where I can hardly look at this girl anymore..lol

I have to say.....
I have a great relationship with my boss, she's very senior and she's also very real.
Never would I ever say the word ****!!!!!!!! to her or anyone in my office. Especially in that context!
I still say, she doesn't understand the relationship and doesn't get that it's inappropriate to say these things to you.
You know, you're not doing her any favors..you are going to end up firing her sooner or later.

I wonder if she has any idea how entertaining she is (obviously not.) It does sound worth it to keep her around for entertainment purposes, especially if she's getting better at the job. I wouldn't even say those things to my best friends, let alone a boss or co-worker. She is truly clueless and she's probably one of those people that would never get it even if you spelled it out for her.
