Last night's debate
I didn't have to watch it to know that it was a train wreck.

Re: Last night's debate
I heard snippets on the news this morning. Had no desire to watch it live. Gotta give two thumbs up to Christie for his comeback remark
"I'm as entertained as anyone by this personal back and forth about the history of Donald and Carly's career," Christie said. "For the 55-year-old construction worker out in that audience tonight, who doesn't have a job, who can't fund his child's education, I got to tell you the truth, they could care less about your careers, they care about theirs. Let's start talking about that on this stage and stop playing the games."

Re: Last night's debate
I caight bits and pieces of it and watched the last hour completely since we went out to dinner in the middle of it. My thoughts:
- Trump is still a clown - Carson cant get it together w/ foreign policy initiatives (no real specifics given) - Fiorina's statement on Planned Parenthood is downright scary. I cant vote for anyone who wants to defund PP. - Jeb Bush looks like he is there because he has to be. Really dont want another Bush in the WH. -Christie is a smooth talker but cant guage from this debate whether he really has what it takes. -Cruz : gosh no. Just no. - Rubio: too much yakking about his ancestors and immigrant background.
Overall cant imagine voting for any of these buffoons. Fiorina is the only one who appeared prepared, poised and articulate but her PP stance is a complete no-no for me. Carson would be # 2 and find his stance on evolution theory to be refreshing (esp coming from a medical/scientist view).

Last night's debate
I watched bits and pieces of it while surfing the web because I couldn't take all the back and forth nonsense. I found them to all really be unprofessional and that scares me. I liked how the moderator was like "you didn't answer my question." To the female candidate (don't know her name) when asked if she trusted Trump with nuclear weapons. It was great for comedic value, but honestly it shows what is wrong with our government. We have no one decent to run this country. No wonder we look like idiots to other nations.

Last night's debate
I'm a registers dem but certain candidates seem like people I could vote for.
I'm in a rather tricky spot because I lean more to the right side when it comes to foreign affairs, military, spending. But I'm so left on certain social issues that the right is never on board with. I've always voted dem. but I could see myself switching this time around.
I'm excited to hear the dem debate in October.
Rubio, Fiorina, Kasich - I think they did well.

Last night's debate
Wanted to add - and again, I say this as a registered Dem who always voted dem -
The same games you see now in these debates (talking Over moderators, avoiding questions, boasting, going back and forth on who did best and who did what, no one having a real plan) - that's all the same exact things that will happen at the Dem debate. It happens every single time.
Its very hard to get all your points and plans in during a timed debate.

Last night's debate
For my own sanity I opted not to watch. They're a bunch of clowns.

Last night's debate
I watched a good amount of it. Even though I am a Democrat I still want to know what the other side thinks. It's unlikely I'd vote for any of them but Kasich is the only one I respect.
I really wish one of them had said "oh hell no" to the question about Trump and nuclear codes. It seemed like they tiptoed around him at the start.
These debates seem to be more about who can get the best sound bite. I didn't really learn anything I didn't already know.

Last night's debate
I didn't get to watch the whole thing, but from what I did see, Carly Fiorina and John Kasich did the best. Trump continues to show that he's an obnoxious, arrogant, jacka**, Huckabee, Cruz, Rubio were just annoying. Chris Christie remains a loud mouth, but I did like when he told Trump and Carly that nobody cares about their careers. I don't think Carson has a good enough grasp of world politics, and isn't he the one who made the comment a while back about jails turning men gay??? An ignorant statement like that from a medical professional completely turns me against him. Jeb is just a bit blah, and I don't think we need a third Bush in the White House.
I liked Carly, but as someone else said, her stance on Planned Parenthood does not sit well with me. I don't agree with her stand on legalizing marijuana, but I understand her feelings on the subject

Re: Last night's debate
First debates a few weeks ago were enough of a circus act for me. I'm seriously considering trying to get my italian citizenship through so I can flee the country if any of these clowns end up in office.

It was awful, entertaining, and scary. I'm so sick of the way they view women.
The $10 bill question was a doozy. Really your wife or mother? E*ff1n ridiculous.

For the $10 bill question: It was a lighthearted question - I really don't think it meant anything.
Besides defunding PP and Trumps mouth, how do these candidates view women? Just curious. I missed the whole beginning of the debate. Did I miss something?

I cant believe that there are people who actually support Trump. That terrifies me. The thought of that man in charge of fragile international relations (aside from his other stances) scares the living shit out of me . The fact that there are people who that doesnt scare is even scarier.

I hear you but I DO agree with Trump on his stance on immigration. It makes total sense. Like the guy or not.

Re: Last night's debate
I've watched small doses.
Trumps constant puss drives me completely batty.
Looks like he is on the toilet trying to take a hard shit.
Our country is doomed if he gets in office.
There are so many people who want to vote for him though.
I also am very liberal but I fear the worst if Hillary is elected too.

Same here. I do not want her to be President. She is so hated that she will not be able to accomplish anything. Nate Silver is predicting that Trump won't be the nominee which is good but he also says it won't be Sanders which bums me out.

It's so frustrating because I've heard so many people say they will vote for her because we need a woman in office.
I also have met many disabled people who back her because she had a stroke.
