didn't the Queen put something in the law books that if the first born is a girl she will get to inherit the crown even if the next born is a boy?

IMHO there is no way they will name a girl with Diana or any kind of derivitive. They might use the letter, but not Diane, Diana etc.

Girl & I'd LOVE for the baby to be named Diana. That way one day Diana would be Queen, as she was intended to be. Thats payback to Charles & his old bag Camilla!
Yes, they changed the law. This baby will be 3rd in the line for the throne.

I think it will be a girl. The names could be Elizabeth, Mary, or maybe Victoria. I hope Victoria. Matilda would be nice. There were a whole bunch of Matildas, but I think that was before 1066...
ETA: I highly doubt Diana will be a first name. It hasn't ever been used, but who knows? I do think it will be a second or third name.
If it's a boy, I think it will be named Albert. That was George's real name.

I'm always wrong. . . so I'm going to say BOY because I really want a female heir to the throne.
One of the oddsmakers had Philip for a boy - after William's grandfather.
I keep hearing them say it will be Alexandra for a girl, which I really like.
I'd like to see Andrew somewhere in the name for a boy, since they met at St. Andrews.
I don't envy them at all - it seems as though there is so much protocol for them to follow with the name.
