Need help with gifts - 7 or 8 yo boy and 5 or 6 yo girl
We want to send DH's cousin's kids gifts for the holidays, but don't know what kids their age are into. We don't want to ask DH's cousin as she's in the midst of a NASTY divorce and has enough on her plate.
Any suggestions for a boy who is 7 or 8 and a girl who is 5 or 6?

I don't know but I usually look on the Toys R Us website and type in the age group and it gives you lots of ideas. They even have ratings from parents on certain toys.

my niece just turned 5, and she's into lego clickits (they're "girly" legos that you make jewelry / picture frames, etc from)
My nephew is turning 8 next week, and he wants video / computer games.

my son is 8 and he loves remote control cars, he got a really cute escalade all suped up one for his birthday and loves it!!!!! my daughter is 4 and she loves to draw/color
