We do everything ourselves to save money. But there's also a sense of pride that goes along with seeing how nice it looks after all our hard work.

I love mowing the lawn and we have 1/2 acre. It's very zen!
although we do have someone for spring/fall cleanup and once a summer to trim our bushes
