Lamar Odom Hospitalized After Being Found Unconscious at Nevada Brothel
Lamar Odom has been rushed to a hospital in Las Vegas, PEOPLE has confirmed.
The former NBA star, 35, was hospitalized Tuesday after being discovered unconscious at a brothel in Nevada, according to TMZ. Odom was found in his room at Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nevada. He checked into the brothel on Saturday, and was found in his room unconscious Tuesday, according to the site.
Sources tell PEOPLE Odom's ex-wife Khloé Kardashian has been informed of his condition, which is described as serious.
TMZ reports that doctors intubated Odom, indicating he is unable to breath on his own.

I am so upset about this. I had a close family member go through heroin addiction and come out ok. Only after years of struggle. So these OD stories always hit me because it was my fear for years.
This poor guy has had the worse life. The worst. He lost his wife which clearly devastated him and it wasn't enough to get sober. She loved him but couldn't enable him anymore. I was just watching KUWTK the other night and it was all about how she still loves him and still checks on him. She must be heartbroken right now. I just feel for them. Kardashian hate aside. It's awful. AND he had these problems way before he met them.

I was just watching KUWTK the other night and it was all about how she still loves him and still checks on him. She must be heartbroken right now. I just feel for them. Kardashian hate aside. It's awful. AND he had these problems way before he met them.
Not to mention he lost his mom at age 12 and months ago lost his childhood best friend from an od. So sad.

And on top of all that his father was a drug addict. He really has had a tough up bringing. So sad, I hope he comes out of this ok.

eta: i know everyone likes to hate on the kardashians for everything and that's fine (i could really go either way about them), but if they weren't there, NO ONE would be by his side. where's his first ex wife and his kids? where's his junkie father? what about any of his friends? khloe has said numerous times that she would still be married to lamar if things were different and she's the only one that constantly checks in on him. it's a sad situation.

I hope so! I think that if they wanted to be there to support him or b/c they're worried about him, that's fine. But if they use it as part of their TV show, then they're disgusting. I hope it turns out that if they're there, it's just for support.

I agree. I am far from a Kardashian lover but there is no doubt in my mind that Khloe truly loves him and just wants him to get better.

I truly don't think Khloe would allow any of it to be taped or included in the show. She kept it a secret for a very long time and really limited what she shared on the show.
I think she genuinely loves him and wants him to be ok. She has said herself that if he would be able to battle his demons and stay clean and sober that she would still be with him.
Addiction is no joke - and my heart breaks for her because I know what it is like to see someone you love go through this.
