Ladies at the end... a few questions
I will be 40 wks on Friday so im at the end and wanted to know if anyone else was experiencing these things:
1. Im noticing more baby movement than i thought i would considering the baby is big and running out of room.
2. Im going to the bathroom alot and i dont mean #1
3. I get SHARP shooting crotch and inner thigh pains. They last a second and then go away.
Anyone else?

I'm 40 weeks tomorrow and noticing the same things as you. Especially the movement. I am also zero dilated and the baby is still pretty high, haven't dropped yet. At my sono on Tuesday, the tech said that my fluid levels are really high and the baby has tons of room to move around still.

Yes. Baby is moving more and more and more and is totally running out of room. Bathroom time is taking up half my day  Pains are insane and the worst for the seconds after I stand up from sitting!!!!

I'm glad you posted this Athina bc I'm about 31 weeks feeling like this also. Especially the vaginal pain!

I'll b 39 weeks friday and have all these symptoms. Baby is moving a whole lot. No dilations and she is breech.

Its all normal! The day you go into labor you will notice less movement. Your body is getting ready. I felt like crap the day before I went into labor. I had cramps, pains and and I was so tired.

I'm 40weeks 3days and am definitely having lightning bolts down there - they are only a second or so.
Bean is moving but not too crazy - I'm not sure what her deal is - since she is still high yet they told me I dropped....I'm only 1/2 cm dilated too.

I'll be 31 weeks on Friday and am experiencing all of these things, which seem to only have started in the last week or two.

Hey - I can't believe you're almost there!  
1 - James moved like a maniac towards the end - he was constantly on the go. Even now, he's non-stop movement, even in his sleep.
2 - totally normal to go #2 a lot, your body is getting ready!
3 - it's called "lightning crotch" and it's not pleasant

I had major bathroom issues 2 days before DD was due, and there was tons of movement.

I am 36 weeks and i felt my first BH contraction the other day and now i feel them all the time. The baby has been out of control....moving all over the place and i have definitely been going #2 more often. I guess i really should install my car seat just in case. I'll be happy if this baby waits until after Thanksgiving!!

I will be 38 weeks on friday and have an appt. this afternoon with sono. I am feeling all the same things...only difference is that his head is really low, so it could be any day now!
Along with these pains, I am getting serious contractions, but they aren't consistent, and according to Dr. they are false labor pains. SO MUCH FUN!!!

I had this with DS at the end. The bathroom time is your baby leaning on your intestines which gives them and your poo less room. (gross I know). Also my DS was all over the place even the moment he was coming out. I could actually feel him twisting his head in the birth canal. Needless to say I pushed him out quickly due to that.

Yes to all of those except #1 which is why the baby was monitored the other day...although last night/day he/she was VERY active and I almost felt him/her moving even further down....I'm not sure where  thought she/he was going haha (BESIDES OUT!!!!!)
