I think if she were wearing clothes that actually fit her new body type you'd both think differently.
I am a plus size woman but I know what I should wear and what I shouldn't. Her jeans are too tight, the shirt is too short and the jacket looks ridiculous.
The dresses she chooses accentuate all the wrong areas.
She needs a stylist and if she has one then she needs a new one.

I think it's an adroable outfit, I'd totally wear ........and I normally LOATHE her clothing and cringe -
I agree the jeans are too tight - but the over all look is adorable.
She doensn't hvae to look good, she doesn't have to be thin, or pretty or anything else b/c she's TRULY incredibly talented - The girl can SING - and she can do it LIVE.
She's the real deal .........and she's already proven herself as an artist - No need for everyone to think she looks 'hot' for her to sell herself.
She was never really pretty. I thnk she's adorable, but I love her. She can do no wrong in my book -

Yes your right. Its definately the clothes they just dont look good on her. She was on american idol not to long ago. And i thought she looked really pretty.

Yup. Honestly, at any size you need to know how to dress your shape, and she just can't figure it out. If she has a stylist, she really needs to get rid of them.

I love her! My issue with her weight is not that she has to be skinny or anything related to what anyone thinks about her. It's more that when I see her I actually feel concerned for her health.

I think she just needs a stylist. I just don't think she knows how to dress herself, whether she's thinner or heavier. I love her, though, and I love how comfortable she is with herself. And her win on AI was in 2002. I know I look much different after 12 years and having a baby!

I would be dying and I'm in shape.
She has a child. She should get healthy.
It is not about looks - she is a pretty girl at any size. It is about living your best, healthiest life.

Also gaining weight doesn't equal being unhealthy the same way being skinny doesn't equal healthy
It's not black and white. I'm not a doctor so I'm not giving her a death sentence bc she gained weight
If brad Pitt did it for a role,yea there would be a few jokes but it wouldn't be national news the way she is and nobody would question his ability to act
If she is happy then that's all that matters.
I still stand by my original statement..that jacket is ugly lol

Some of these comments/judgments are just 
Pretty sure no one here has access to her medical records and are just judging a book by its cover.

This. Why I wrote what I wrote is based on that fact and what my medical professionals tell me. And that's why I feel the way that I do. Again, I really adore her. But this is not healthy - for her height and weight, it just isn't.

I have to disagree, having been a performer myself (singing, theater etc) weight is not an issue if you can control your breathing. It's been said before, just because she's heavier doesn't mean she's not healthy and doesn't have stamina. Obviously she's a trained singer, heck opera singers have been way heavier than this and sing circles around me.
