Just wanted to say..
thank you ladies for answering all of my questions and being so helpful. I will no longer be posting on the Pregnancy boards. I had my first sono yesterday and bad news.. the baby had not developed as it should have. There was just a sac and a yolk. I went for a second sono today, and the same thing. The size of the sac is too big now for the baby to start to develop. By now 8w 2d I should be able to see and hear the heartbeat. Anyway I'm scheduled for a D &C next week.
I know Steph had posted the same thing was seen in her sono and I'm praying for her that she sees something on her next sono. and things turn around for her! Steph if you would like to chat feel free to FM me!
If anyone has had a D&C please FM me about your experience, I would like to know from someone who has experienced it. I plan on joining the TTC boards again as soon as I'm up for it and hopefully will be back here soon! Everyone have a happy and healthy 9 months!

I am so sorry. I had a D&C at 10 weeks. It was a very emotional time for me. Simple procedure (in and out in a few hours). Not painful and easy recovery. I bled for 18 days, 5 days later got my period. We waited a year to TTC again for many reasons ( I have a pregnancy disease that I was not ready to go through again). Conceived my current pregnancy (daughter) on the third month.

Oh- I am so sorry!!!!!
I had a D&C at 12 weeks. It was pretty quick and painless. I bled that day only. I had painkillers and pills to make my uterus contract if I continued bleeding and I did not need either pills. It took 8 weeks to get my next AF though and doctor told me to wait 2 cycles before TTC again. Physically it was no big deal, but emotionally it was tyerribly painful.
