Okay, that explains a lot. I truly had no idea why the responses were what they were. Thanks for the welcome! I do hope to stay and chat. What's 4 dinner is a place where you get to pick out meals to make. You can pick and choose ingredients ( My husband is light on garlic and onions). I made 12 dinners. I froze them and like i said have heated 2 and they were delicious and my girls ate them which is a miracle. Would not say my kids would eat all the ones I made, but that is why chicken nuggets were invented.

How much did it cost?

Re: Just tried What's 4 Dinner

That sounds right. It seemed like a lot, but my husband and i figured that it is more like 1 1/2 meals so you get more for the dollar. You also get a choice on what you want to make. I think it was choose 12 out of 15. But don't hold me to that number.

Re: Just tried What's 4 Dinner

How many people are served per meal? We have 2 little boys and I am trying to figure out if it would be worth our while... :)

Re: Just tried What's 4 Dinner

I can tell you that it served my husband two helpings, me one and the 4 girls probably 1 1/2 servings. We then had enough for a lunch and a dinner for 2.

That sounds like a lot from 1 meal! Maybe I should look into it for when baby arrives.

For real- $25 isn't that bad- groceries for a nice big dinner cost about that much, if theres lots of stuff I don't have...

the pricing seems to be OK, but it's just OK. I would be willing to try it out for 1 meal, just to see how it turns out.

but honestly, unless we're grilling a steak, every dinner I prepare is well under $10 for DH and I.

Re: Just tried What's 4 Dinner

Funny -- I JUST got an email this morning from LIF telling me NOT to promote Super Suppers since I work there and a "vendor" was protesting....and then this post pops up???

First of all, I don't work for Super Suppers and haven't since May. Secondly, all I have done was to say I went to the tasting and that it was delicious. Other women on parenting are organizing GTGs at Super Suppers - not me.

Never tried What's 4 Dinner, way too far for me. Lots of my friends have tried Super SUppers and loved it so if you are going to bash, I would watch it.

Oh excuse me for mentioning I liked Super Suppers...will I be banned now?? Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
