just had a little mini breakdown
As I was rushing to clean up the kitchen, iron clothes, and fold laundry I came to the realization that every day all i do is rush onto the next thing...rush to get ready for work, drop the kids off, get my lesson plans done, grade papers, make parent phone calls, rush to pick up the kids, rush home to feed the baby, make dinner, clean up, get clothes ready, REPEAT!!! I'm finding it hard to fine the joy in life if all I do is rush through everything to get onto the next thing! I love my kids, my husband, my job, my house, but I feel like I don't have time to enjoy them because I'm too busy to juggle it all

Re: just had a little mini breakdown
I completely understand what you are saying and feel exactly the same way most days. I would just like to enjoy life some days not think about the next ten things that need to be done on my mental list.

Re: just had a little mini breakdown
I could have written this myself I know exactly how you are feeling and I hate that I live for the weekends. I'm missing out on the daily little things and it breaks my heart. It's gotta get better!

Re: just had a little mini breakdown
i completely know the feeling. It always feels like a rush. to help, i started to cut down on little things- for example i stopped making my lunch for work (unless it was dinner leftovers) which saved me time at night, I don't cook every night (sometimes i get a dinner at gemellis because it is close to a homecooked meal), we have a cleaning lady for all the heavy cleaning, and DH shares in laundry duty. you have to make some changes or that feeling won't go away. at work you can start doing more Mult choice quizzes or if it's writing, grade 1 out of 2 pieces they write, etc.. hope this helps and things get less hectic:) we're around if you want a playdate:) alex misses natalie
