peasant skirts - mini vent!
I love how these skirts are so popular this season, but I've been wearing them since HS! It drives me nuts that Victoria's Secret is selling a gorgeous purple one on sale for $88 and they're advertised all over the place as the "new celebrity style"! The only good thing about them being popular is that they are actually easy to find now!
I just hate when something I've always worn suddenly becomes trendy.

i totally understand what you're saying. i used to wear dr .scholls like they were going to be discontinued or something. well, suddenly, boom...they were such a hot thing.

I hate when you finally give in and get rid of an old style you loved then it becomes trendy again. That's why I'm always broke!

ug i feel your pain!
not only with clothes even, with everything!
i used to wear pin kall the time and people would be like "ew, pink makes me puke" ... tehn 2 yrs later its the new black!
and other things but i wont even get into that.
as for NON-clothign stuff, i REALLY hate that Chihuahuas are a new 'trend' and so is dressing them up. i was SO dressing up my dogs before it came the thign to do

A friend of mine ALWAYS wore those hippy shirts that are in now and now she looks just like everyone else!

this happened to my friends and I ALL THE TIME back in high school. We all used to skateboard, listened to punk/ska/hardcore, etc. and pretty much did all of our shopping for clothes at thrift shps, salvations army, Army Navy stores, etc. It was funny bc all the "popular" kids would make fun of the way we dressed, but amazing how fast everyone started copying the "trend" once it appeared in Spin and Vogue as the new look It just annoys me that no one is original anymore, and when you are, it's assumed that you're just doing it bc it's the trend when it's no different from what you've been doing..... okay, rant over now
