Ooh! I was just going to ask in that post of the White Post Farms pics. I'm bummed I missed that thread. 
Who is in the bunch? Where is a central location? Who would organize it?

I'll help organize it, I don't mind! we could do a restaurant, or um i dunno. it's getting colder out, is there anything cool to do? last meet before white post i went to was at the source mall. it was a bunch of the june mommies. it was great!

I did the second source mall one. Nolan and I were kind of late but it was fun! I'd prefer better seating/location condusive to breastfeeding though. 
I did however notice... I went into the mall via Dave and Busters and the whole place was completely empty except for one big business luncheon. We could have a whole section to ourselves for stroller parking and stretching out. Heck, I'd even bring my parachute and bubbles and we can do a play group!!!

Looks like a weekend is best for most. Should we figure a date first or a location? I'm BFing right now so cannot get to my calendar otherwise I'd list a few.
What would be central to everyone... I'm in East Islip, Suffolk County.

Okay, so I'll be the first to throw out some dates...
Saturday, November 28
Sunday, November 29
[my schedule is packed the first weekend in December]
Saturday, December 12
Sunday, December 13
Saturday, December 19
Sunday, December 20
Then we'd be looking at after the New Year.
As far as avoiding malls, I'm all jiggy with that! Anyone have any ideas what we can do/where we can go with a bunch of 5/6 month olds and stay warm? I'll make a post to get some ideas from the whole group!

Hey guys! Just wanted to touch base since I kind of fell off the boards for a bit. Nolan has been having some bedtime issues (most likely teething) since the night before Thanksgiving. I've been very tired and not having much time for the boards but if a GTG is planned, I'd gladly like to attend and be FM'd with info!

We have Safe T Swim on Saturdays in the middle of the day so Sunday would be better and probably the 13th is better than the weekend before Christmas (last chance to get anything done!).
(Suffolk here too!)

posting with ds in arms but.... is it too crazy to think of a bundled baby stroller gtg in the arboretum or some park? nice hot coffee or tea for the mommies and just walk and chat? we can look for a sunny day. i am not opposed to ds being out on a nice day if he's bundled and sitting on a blanket?????? or park the strollers in a circle and they can "talk" to each other. ds just loves looking at other babies!
