Job perks
What kind of perks does your job offer? I'm not talking about the working from home, $$$ or bonuses people get. I'm wondering about things like discounts to places, etc.
At my job, we have discounts at:
Bronx Zoo NY Aquarium Tiffany & Co. (comes with any business account, we get 15% off) Jos A. Banks Dell discounts Holland America Cruise Line
Actually my reasons for posting is to see other perks that we can all try to get for our own companies & if we can help each other out. I loved hearing about the tuition!

Re: Job perks
DH's job doesn't have perks like that, but if you are invested in the fund and want to cash in to use the money towards a downpayment or home improvements, the owner will give us an extremely low interest loan rather than take the money out of the fund.

That's how my brother and I went to college. I thank my mom all the time since I don't have undergraduate loans.

Same for my brother. (my mom works here) I went to a state school, so my bills weren't out of control... My mother also did her undergraduate & graduate studies as well.
I'm currently procrastinating starting graduate school and I need to get my @ss in gear to utilize these benefits... ugh

Re: Job perks
I get nothing - nada - zip and zilch.
My boss will sometimes buy me stuff - but there is no stat reimbursements or discounts for ANYTHING around here.
There is also no time left in the day to go anywhere.
So - anyone with these nice perks got a job opening?

Re: Job perks
We get discounts from tons of different places. They're always selling tickets for events at discounted prices. We also can purchase legal insurance (so we can get a lawyer for certain things for free - its only $2.50 a paycheck) and tuition assistance. We also have 2 colleges, St. Joseph's for undergrad and Dowling for grad, who come onsite to teach classes. We also get special pricing from them. They give away lots of tickets to sporting events by a random lottery. We have a lot of diversity groups that we can belong to and have lots of training, one specifically being a group called Women Empowered which was a great learning experience, and I would definitely consider those perks. We also have a Toastmasters program available (which assists in public speaking).
Man, do I work in a great place!

Re: Job perks
I work for a small company but I consider my perks to be:
1- Yankee season tickets that we can use 2- free lunches at least one a week 3- a kitchen stocked with snacks & drinks 4- coming in late (i use this at least once a week) and leaving early if needed (we all abuse this one...mostly in the summer)
There are probably a few more I can't think of right now...

Huge discount on car insurance and home owners. Dell program. 5000 year for school, plus 2000 year for any kind of class I want to take. Staples discount. 100 year to join a gym
I'm sure I'm missing things... it's a lot for a small company.
