I was recently offered a middle school Social Studies teaching job in a great Long Island district!
LIRR is doing a background check on DH. If all goes well, things look promising

Thats great! DH is a social studies teacher on LI- that is such a competetive job! We have family friends that work for the LIRR (the entire familiy works for them really)- great job to get into.
