And may her daughter find the strength to get through this difficult time. They were extremely close. Did everything together.

On another message board I read, they had a nurse from the hospital stating that Rivers actually died a day after the news broke about her procedure and that the daughter wasn't prepared to release the news to the media yet that her mother passed away. Now I guess that story was true after all.
what makes you think the nurses story is true?
The post was edited/deleted only a few hours after it was posted, it had named the doctor and also some personal info only personnel at Mt. Sinai would be familiar with. Nurse came on the board and just said she worked that shift, talked to other staffers and were told Rivers underwent cardiac failure and had passed-the doctors informed family on Sat night to prepare for finality since once she went on the respirator, it was unlikely she would come out of it...either way, it is very sad.

I highly doubt they would lie about or cover up the date of her declared death. I also think it's really poor taste for any medical professional to be posting things on social media about ANYONE's health. She is lucky she has a job.
