Christmas is still nearly four weeks away, but Jessica Simpson got her biggest -- and totally unexpected! -- present early: Another baby on the way! Seven months after giving birth to daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson, the star is once again expecting, the new issue of Us Weekly exclusively confirms.
It definitely wasn't planned. But yes, Jessica is pregnant again," a source reveals to Us. The surprise baby-to-be is the second for the singer and Fashion Star mentor, 32, and fiance Eric Johnson. (A rep for Simpson had no comment.)
Engaged for the past two years, Simpson and former NFL pro Johnson, 33, welcomed Maxwell -- a whopping 9 pound, 13 ounce bundle of joy! -- on May 1 of this year.
And while Simpson felt energized about her admirable 70-pound slimdown post-baby, her greatest inspiration is being a mom.
"Motherhood is a dream," she told Katie Couric back in September. "It really is absolutely amazing."
Wishing a Happy Thanksgiving to her 5.7 million Twitter followers Nov. 22, she gushed: "I am so grateful for my new lil family!"

I had such a colicy baby that the thought of another one so close made me want to never have sex again!

If you're letting your Significant Other RSVP during sex, there is a pretty good chance you're gonna get PG. so where is the shock?

Sometimes PNP works great- other times, not so much.
Plus even the best form of birth control can and does fail.
It's rare but it happens.
The only 100% guarantee is abstinence- and trust me- in the beginning I was SOOOOO scared of getting pregnant again - I employed that form QUITE often!

I know I am a stickler for the rules being followed, but didn't she have a csection??? It is very unsafe to get pregnant too soon after a csection. I was told I had to wait a year, not sure if that is the norm but I thought it was.

my sister got pregnat in May- her son turned 1 at the end of June
just like Jessica- pretty much the day she lost all the weight from her first
in talking to people- it seems fairly common that this happens- Jessica and my sister wont be the first 2 moms with 2 under not quite 2

Yes. That is. Honestly, how hard is it to use birth control? She already has a child and keeping herself well and safe should be a priority IMO. And to get pg too soon after a csection can kill you. I find it rather irresponsible for a mom to take that chance, esp even Tori Spelling who already had THREE children that would rather not lose their mother.

ITA! I had a c-section with my first DS. My OB advised waiting at least a year (preferably 18 months) before getting pregnant again. Even though I was 36 and time was not on my side, I waited and got pregnant when my first was 19 months old.
Luckily, I had my second CS and all was fine without any complications. I wanted to give my baby a sibling, but as his Mom (and a wife!) my health was a priority. I also didn't want to be put on bed rest and have my young toddler miss out on fun time with his Mommy.
A c-section is major abdominal surgery. Your body has to do major healing internally as well as externally. It is easy to forget that.
With Tori Spelling, her situation was even worse because she had 3 c-sections already. She missed her third baby's whole first year due to being on bed rest and hospitalized for her 4th pregnancy.
