Does anyone here lease one? Can you give me a ballpark on the price you got (and which trim level) and what kind of gas mileage are you seeing?

Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee

We pay $480/month for the Limited - we put no money down.

As for the gas milege I can't really tell you because we don't drive a lot. DH has a company van and I commute into the city using mass transit.

So I put gas in it every 2 weeks if we use it a lot on the weekends - $40 gets me a 1/2 tank roughly.

We got the Laredo. It gets about 18-19mpg, but that's all local driving. 3k down, but we pay just under $300/month. We put money down to get a lower monthly payment, a lot of people say not to, but it worked better for us right now.

ETA: I LOVE this jeep.

The handle and ride of the Jeep is why we keep leasing them. We put down $1200 and we pay $360 a month for the Laredo with Leather. There is no other truck that handles in the snow the way Jeep does (I have driven the Escape, Murano & Pilot in the snow) and I feel safest in the Jeep. I also love the trunk space. We have a car seat in the back now and we can easily fit another, with an adult in the back also. Mine is due back in the spring and I can't wait to get the new model!

We looked at the Ford Edge, but it was more money for less features.

This is my 4th SUV and I am DEFIANTELY leasing another Jeep after this...I want the Overland edition next round Chat Icon

I love the way it drives and how it handles in the snow. I like the trunck space the space in the back row. It's not crowded back there even with the car seat.

Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee

after sandy I needed a new car quick, we got the jeep I don't remember how much we put down I can look it up later but I pay $395 a month, I have leather interior, sun/moonroof, gps all the extras, I don't fill it up every week but when I do its about $70 to fill the tank, my dh said it has a big tank so its a lot to fill it but it lasts longer
I am very happy with it so far, I have twins and it fits 2 car seats, double stroller and room for groceries and such, its a nice smooth ride.

Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee

I pay a little over $300 a month and put about $2k down with fees and such.

I get 45K in mileage for the 3 years, and also have the scrapes and dings rolled into my payments.

I don't know how many miles, but I can sometimes go 7 days on a tank and this is commuting back and forth to Manhasset from the South Shore/Western Suffolk 5 days a week.

Now that I have a Jeep I will probably never go back to a different SUV either.

I got crap mileage with my Mazda CX9.

My dad works at a jeep dealership and said he can get us a limited with dvd for just over $300 a month, with not much down (around 3,000). We will be doing this within the next couple of month so my dh has another vehicle to drive around rather than his work pick up. For the price, it's a no brainer to us. We've rented the ford escape, edge, and dodge durango- while the durango was nicest- still Jeep is my choice. I actually think I might try to swap with him, while my Tahoe is my baby- I'm really loving the new body style! Just trying to decide on a color.

The new JGC takes E-85 gas. I paid $2.79/gallon yesterday and filled my tank up for $45.

is e85 the regular gas because that is what I always put it my tank and I have never paid $45 but its also a lot more than $2.79 a gallon, where do you buy gas

No its not regular gas. Not all gas stations have E-85. But its much cheaper. It does go a bit quicker though. I know a couple of Valero's by me have E-85. It's on the same pump but a different nozzle.

Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee

We have a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 with leather, navigation etc. We leased with no money down and pay $480 a month. We get 20 mpg.

Overall I love the and think it handles well and has great trunk space but I have a few issues with it. Rear facing carseats eat a ton of space and passenger and driver seats need to be pulled up far. Also I am short (5'3) and find it hard to get DD in and out. I think I prefer crossovers. We had an Edge and I loved it!

Search my review on her somewhere - someone else asked about it a few months ago.

This sounds reasonable to me considering what others paid. Good luck!

That sounds like a REALLY good deal! We lease a 2014 Limited, fully loaded, and we pay $447/month. Gas mileage is not great, but ok. I drive in stop & go traffic every day so it's hard to get a good gauge on it. DH and I both love the car!

I agree but then I see a mention of the same car in the low 300's with nothing down (I know, family works at the dealer) but that makes me wonder if I should try to negotiate more. Chat Icon

I have a 2014 limited and put 0 down and pay $450 a month, it costs me about $87-$92 to fill up currently.

I had a 2011 prior and put 0 down and paid $460 a month, so my monthly payment did not go up, went down $10 a month.

I went to Massapequa and they were great.
