IUI's Done
Hi Ladies,
So i had my first IUI's done yesterday and today. Dh's count was a ltitle low and he is a smoker and the doctor specifically said he should stop. Anyone else have this issue?
Wish me luck....now the waiting...lol

hmm...good question. i forgot what it was yesterday. we bd wed night then thurs i forgot i think today was 2 million....does that make sense?..
i should have asked more questions. but was running alte and was more annoyed about dh and his smoking !
Edit, his SA results came back well. so im not sure. maybe its bc it was a few days in a row....idk...

hmmm, that seems really strange. 2 million is pretty low, especially if your original SA was totally fine.
we are dealing with MF issues so we have had many SAs, so i know that the results can vary. in the past 4 months my DH has had between 3million and 15million, which is what we expected given his issues (had testicular cancer and a varicocele in the remaining testicle).
hopefully this last one was just a blip for you guys and perhaps quitting smoking will help too! i know that some people swear by a combination of vitamins (c, e, selenium, zinc), you should ask your RE if he would recommend any of those. and make sure your DH doesn't have a varicocele - they seem to be pretty common when count is an issue.
ETA: sometimes there can be def be a variation when you have two days in a row!! i know that for people dealing with consistent low counts it isn't as pronounced (we never noticed a major change in 2 consecutive days), but i think that for men with normal counts it can be an issue. hopefully that's all it is!!

thanks for the advice....
maybe i was mistaken im not sure. Bc im sure the doctor would have made it a point to let us know it could be something more or something else needed to be done.
well we will see, now i just wait.
Should we bd tonight or tom?...
