Re: IUI question
Didn't you have IUI done already, or was it IVF you said you had done?
I've had many of them..
It's not painful, it's less uncomfortable and quicker than a PAP
No discomfort, you can go about doing your normal routine afterwards.
Once you have the IUI done, then you wait two weeks to see if you're pregnant or not.

Re: IUI question
IUI worked for my sister in law, but not for another friend....she had to go right to IVF because of her age. It worked for her - for her first child. BUT - she waited too long for her second and is now on her third (and final) try of IVF.

Re: IUI question
I had 1... it did not hurt and I wasn't sore afterwards. There was a little cramping, but that's it.
As PP mentioned, you should have a beta 2 weeks after your IUI.
Will you be doing IUIs? Unmedicated or with Clomid or injectables?

Re: IUI question
I had several IUI's - never hurt. It's as harmless as getting a Pap and most times I didn't even feel a thing. You should get the results within about 12-14 days after the IUI.

Will take the IUI over the HSG any day.
