IUI DONE!!!!..1DPO
I went in last night and had my IUI done. This time around I had 2 follicules on the right. One was measuring 2.2 and the other was 2.6. The IUI did not hurt me one bit!! I also Had a trigger shot done too. After the IUI I had some cramping but not all that bad..I'm just noticing a very dull pain in my lower backside. I never felt that before so maybe it's a good sign I hope!!!
Send me that Baby Dust and hoping that this month is my month!!!!!!!

yeah those sizes are very odd. are they not in mm? most REs measure in mm and a good follie is around 20. i would guess that yours are the equivalent to 22 and 26 which are fine.
also when did they give you the trigger shot?? usually you would get that 12-36 hours prior to the IUI...

i do not know if that is in mm which they usually r measured in
i am assuming it is 26 and 20

Yes that what the Sono tech told me as well as my Dr. So I hope those are good sizes!!! I have one big one which is wonderful!!!!

I asked for the trigger to given. But I read things wrong and Should of had it probably prior to the IUI. My Dr. said she would still give it to me. It's a whole big mess with my insurance because It needed to go through the insurance company first..it's a long story..and aggravting!!! I received the shot early yesterday moring around 8:30am. When does it start to release the egg? 36 hrs from Injection right?

No I'm seeing my gyno. My friends have had it in the past this way. I'll see what takes this cycle..Hopefully maybe I'll get that BFP!! If I'm going through this next month I will have the trigger before the IUI.

 Have you considered seeing an RE? Your follie sizes sound funky...and a trigger should be given about 36 hours before the IUI. You might increase your odds by seeing an RE, IMO.

I am not seeing an RE yet. I don't plan to until after 6 months to a year of trying. This is only our 3rd month. My follicule size is not funky I just didn't know how they were measured. They are 22MM AND 26MM. They would of not did my iui if I did not have a mature follicule size. This time around the are much better. I'm still okay even though I had a trigger shot late. I had it 11 Hrs after my IUI. The first day was Wed that I got my  Seeing an RE is an option I would consider but not at this time..thank You for your concern!

Just my two cents..............I've had AT LEAST 8 IUI's and I've NEVER heard of giving an hcG shot AFTER an IUI. That doesn't make ANY sense. It's almost a waste of an IUI because now the sperm are already up there waiting and you won't be ovulating for over 36hrs. from the time of the IUI so now those sperms are going to not be "super fresh", for lack of a better word.
I wish you lots of luck but I would consider seeing an RE. I mean, if you're doing IF treatments anyway you may as well see someone who understands IF protocol. Honestly, my experience (both personal and from others I know) has been that gyno's generally do NOT know enough about IF issues to really treat you properly. If you want IF treatment you should see an IF specialist. That's just my opinion. An RE would have NEVER given you an hcG shot 11 hours AFTER an IUI. It would seem to me that your gyno is not well versed on IF treatment.
Anyway, lots of luck regardless. I hope somehow you get lucky!!
