Its over- my IVF is officially an IUI
 I am just so upset. To get to this point after 8 nights of injections and stress. He only saw 3 follies plus a small 6mm on my left and nothing on my right I triggered at their office. At least the shots are done. IUI tomorrow at 10 am may be another on Friday depending on whether there is a collapsed follie tomorrow. The semi good news is that if the IUI does not work (it will be our 4th) then I can go straight to ivf after AF. He does want me on BCPs again which I do not like and he probably wants to do a lupron flare protocol on me next cycle. I cannot believe I did not even make it to an ER after all of this.

Did he do supression this cycle? Maybe supression is not good for you?

Good luck with the IUI. If it doesn't work why won't he skip the bcp? Does your cycle coincide with theirs? It always seemed odd that they would put low responders on BCP before a cycle. GL!

yes, 23 days on BCPS and I agree, it probably was not good. I am a little nervous that he wants to do bcps again bc I really do not.

I don't get the whole BCP thing with IVF in the first place.

sometimes it just takes some tweaking to get the right protocol
everyone responds differently
I've had 2 or 3 canceled cycles and I don't know how many different protocols

I never understood the whole BCP thing either.

Oh Amanda, I am so so so sorry!! I will keep everything crossed that this IUI works for you... I can only imagine how upset you are...
Hang in there - hopefully, if you do have to go to IVF, a tweak of the protocol will be all it takes...

I am so sorry, but hopefully it will all work out for you.
I am a poor repsonder too, but BCP works better for me than lupron which oversuppressed me.
Now they know for next time, that you will need a higher dose of drugs.

Please hang in there. I got pregnant on 2 iui CYCLES and never on an IVF!!! Please be positive.. This will be amazing if it works!!! I will be praying continuously for you..Its not over please tell yourself that!! please

But, I know you are not out. You never know, 4th IUI could work. But, pretend like you don't think it will, b/c most get lucky when they least expect it.
