It's a chemical pg
My levels went to 5.5. I have to go back on Friday to test it out, I guess.
The nurse left me a message. You'd think they'd want me to speak to them personally, wouldn't you?
Dr. B left me a message to call him (at least he didn't give me the bad news in a message), but I missed it. I have so many questions.
For those who had chemical pg's, did you start another cycle right away? Did you actually miscarry?
What's next?
eta: I just wanted to add a sincere thank you to all for all of the good thoughts and prayers. It does a heart good when you know that there are people wishing nothing but the best for you.
Also, I'm the type of person who needs to be realistic about things, so I prepared myself for this yesterday. I needed to SEE the words "chemical pregnancy" and make peace with those two, ugly words which is why I'm not a mess today. So for those who were being honest and afraid they were hurting my feelings, you were not. I appreciated it more than you know.
On the upside I got pg on the first try this time around. The last time it took me 5 iui's (3 clomid, 2 injectables) before getting my bfp.

I'm so very sorry  My first IVF cycle was a chemical. I was able to cycle again right away as soon as my beta levels were at 5 or below. For me it took almost 5 weeks for that to happen. But sounds to me, you should be able to start right away again since your beta today was at 5.5
You might want to ask the Dr. when you speak to him. I think some RE's might want you to wait. But I'm not sure there is any real reason to with a chemical.

I'm so sorry  ...My 1st IVF cycle was a chemical as well and I was able to do another fresh cycle the following month after waiting for my beta to lower to zero..The following cycle we conceived...Good Luck to you

I'm so sorry.
When I had my chemical/etopic my beta kept rising slowly, but not dropping and I had to take methotrexate shots. Before having to take the shots they told me I could cycle again right away. I'm here if you want to talk.

My FET was a chemical. It went from 8 to less than 5 in 5 days. I never followed up with my RE on when I could try again because I made a decision to switch REs.
I see no reason why you can't start again asap.

I'm so sorry, but you are right the good news is you can get PG. I was able to do another cycle right after my chemical, sometimes they ask you to wait a month in between.
technically it is a m/c but most people never even know they are PG, you'll get a regular period

I am sorry for what you are going through. I had 2 chemical pregnancies, one was a natural conception and one was on injections with IUI. I m/c'd naturally both times very early and did not need D&C. Stay positive that it will happen for you!
ETA: I did not wait to try again after my chemicals, in fact they occured in back to back cycles.

I'm so sorry. You sound like you have a great way of handling this very difficult situation. Since your beta wasn't so high, it might be in your favor. If it goes down next visit that would be good (but honestly anything 5 and under is considered not pregnant). But, all RE's are different with their starting and waiting theories. I wish you mounds of good luck on your next cycle.

I'm so sorry. I had one in November and it is so hard. It sounds like you can go on to the next cycle w/o taking a break. Hang in there.
