It poured yesterday! (with some pics)
I had my shower. It was a brunch at Rosewood Inn in Melville. We had a about 60 women. Everything was perfect. The food was great and my mom did an amazing job with the decorations. The theme was "Twinkle, twinkle little star, how we wonder WHO you are" since I'm team  She hung a sign that said that on the mantle (will post pic of this later). There was also a clothesline of clothes strung across the fire place. The centerpieces were little lanterns with silver star punch-outs holding balloons. The favors were star christmas ornaments, since the baby is due Xmas week. There were yummy cupcakes with star/moon decorations. And the wishing well was a laundry basket decorated with, you guessed, it stars and a banner that said "when you wish upon a star."
We didn't do games (neither my mom nor I are really fans, so I said it was okay not to), so instead she passed around scrapbook paper (since she knows I'm big on scrapbooking) to each table and had them write notes of advice to me. And she gave away the CPs by putting a little star sticker on 2 chairs at each table.
Here are some pics. I didn't get every detail (hoping someone else did). I have a better pic of the lantern at home--tried to crop in on this one.

Not a clear pic of the lantern centerpieces. Will show a better one later. They were really cute. All the tables except for the "head" table were tables of 12, so she put 2 at each table. Image Attachment(s):
