Usually neat...but it does have its messy days
Always messy except on days you clean.. and then its messy again

Lately - always messy.
Tomorrow starts my goal of going through everything in the house to get rid of things I don't need. I think I have too much stuff and that is why the messy takes over

It's somewhere in between because usually the messiness is confined to a specific area depending on what's going on. Like right now, I am working on reorganzing the office so the office is a wreck, but the rest of the house is neat.
I said to DH today "I'm going to go clean" and he was like "Clean what?" Umm....there is a huge mess in the office in case you didn't notice!!!
Oh...also there's a big mess on the kitchen table right now because I'm working on my album and my proofs are covering the entire table. But in hundreds of neat piles.

This applies to us. It's pretty "neat" but definitely needs to be clean and organized. I have a pile of mail on 3 small tables by the entrance...I am way too lazy and DH (he usually cleans) is on strike.

I have to have everything perfectly neat or I cant relax at all. But if I am working on something like a craft project or something, there is a mess in one spot. But its a very neat mess!

about 1/2 and 1/2. We are in an apt. and own enough stuff to be a house, so we clean a lot to keep things tidy because we have a lot of stuff, for the most part its always clean, maybe not organized

You can tell what kind of week I've had by the condition of my apartment. Normally it's very neat, but on stressful, hectic weeks, it all gets shot to hell!

I hate to admit it, but almost always messy. We're both slobs. I hate how it looks and I get frustrated. Whenever we clean, we're so happy with how it looks with everything put away and organized, but then we start leaving everything lying around again. Nothing like dirty dishes piling up, but piles of mail on the kitchen table, shoes lying around the living room, etc.

I use to consider my house neat until I became a mom. I don't know how to keep up with the house. I feel like all my free time is straightening up my house. It doesn't seem to bother my dh as much as me!! Ahh

I'd say,
Usually neat, but does have messy days.
Its all relative I guess... ex- I only make the bed maybe 2x a week or if guests are coming or if I've stripped it down for washing sheets, etc
To some, that is messy. For me, I'd don't mind an unmade bed.
when its at its messiest is when I am actually doing a big clean and start something I don't want to finish!

same here but my husband does care although we are both messy but it's definitely not easy.

Pretty much neat. My husband likes to leave all his clean clothes in a pile next to the bed. I refuse to put it away so it stays there...I mean how hard is it to put your socks in the drawer?
