Is this too boyish?

We arent having a party for Megans 1st Birthday but we are having cake and presents with the family. I would still love to decorate for pictures and to make her happy.

She LOVES Baby Einstein and Backyardigans. Its her absolute favorite. But all the decorations for both (in my opinion) look so boyish. Is that silly???

I see so many cute pink princess things but she wont know what that is. I want her to get excited and I know she will over either one of these two.

What do you think?

I think both would be cute for a boy or girl.

I swear, I am thinking of mixing and matching. She loves both SO MUCH. She probably loves Backyardigans more now but she has literally grown up with Baby Einstein this past year.

I cant believe I am planning her 1st Birthday!!!!!! Chat Icon

Check out Party City - they are having a big clearance event, and I could swear I saw some of this stuff there...

Re: Is this too boyish?

I don't think it's boyish at all...there's plenty of pink and purple in the Backyardigans decor. I am going to Party City today, to get some stuff for Elena's 2nd bday. I am also just doing cake w/the family, and Backyardigans is the theme!

I am making her a Pablo cake b/c she LOVES Pablo!!Chat Icon

Have FUN, Noreen...this is one of the most fun times w/your kids...planning their bday celebrations!

Re: Is this too boyish?

i think the backyardigans can be made very girly by accenting it with pink and purple.

Re: Is this too boyish?

Either one is not too boyish. I am torn between Backyardigins or Curious George for Hayley's 2nd birthday. She loves the both!! Now George is boyish to me but I don't care, she loves him.

Re: Is this too boyish?

I love them both. I think the backyardigans set might look a bit more "girly" but they both are so adorable would be perfect for a boy or girl. You have plenty of more years for girly princess stuff. It's more important for her to get excited and it sounds like she's love either one.
