Re: Is thirst a symptom??
i don't know... i recall drinking a lot the first trimester ust because it's good to stay hydrated, but if it's extreme thirst, i would ask the doctor about it. extreme thirst can be a sing of diabetes and you don't want GD if you can help it.

Re: Is thirst a symptom??
I've been extremely thirsty this whole time, I'm 13 weeks today.
I've always been a water drinker, but now I can't get enough.
I keep a bottle of water on my nightstand now and tend to wake up at 2-3am thirsty and drink.

Ditto. Yes, you do want to drink a lot but if it's really extreme and persistent I would just let you doctor know.

Re: Is thirst a symptom??
I can't do anything or go anywhere without some kind of drink with me, whether t be water or my carbonation craving, which i settle with a Diet Pepsi. I am 19 weeks and I still have to have something to drink at all times.

Re: Is thirst a symptom??
Watch the sodium in your seltzer and other sodium intake. But yes, drinking a lot is normal. And no matter how much or little you drink, you're still gonna pee a lot!
