okay... VERY bizarre PG symptom here... can anyone relate?
okay, this is a weird one, but here goes.
ever since about 9-10 weeks, i have had these inflamed, painful taste buds on my tongue. at first i thought i had burnt my tongue (it's the same feeling), but 7 weeks later i am still having this. it's not the same taste buds, every day it seems like different ones are inflamed.
i googled this and did find one (yes, a single ONE) report of this from a pregnant woman.
i feel like a total freakshow writing/asking about this. but it's SO painful that i'm considering calling my OB.
has this happened to anyone?

Happened to me last week for 2 days. I wasn't sure what it was. I was thinking a yeast infection but I've never had one. Only thing that made me think of that is my mother gets them in her mouth. Call you primary care doctor.
My mother said her mouth becomes raw which I didn't have..Just felt like it was on fire especially when I ate.

thank you for replying! (i was getting nervous when i saw how many people looked and haven't experienced anything remotely like this  )
i am thinking yeast too, although it's not the typical "thrush" that you might see. i think it's another type of presentation. i think i will have to call my doc...

my mouth feels a little sore - like i have little cuts in it (kind of like when you eat too much pineapple, if that makes sense) but i don't have any issues with my taste buds. it's more the roof of my mouth.

omg so weird!! i was going to post this to but thought the girls would think im weird haha but i have two very painful taste buds! it hurts to even brush my tongue. i dont know what it is or where it came from. im so happy to hear im not the only one lol

Yes I have had it on and off but it always has gone away b.c I go back to the OB so I forget to ask about them.
