Is spotting normal if you are EBF?
I *thought* I might be spotting, but now I KNOW... bright pink. I am only 10 weeks PP and EBF-- and based on my other post and the responses, it seems I shouldn't have any signs of my period yet.
Should I be concerned? I guess I will have to wait til Monday to call my doctor.
I am also having some crampy stuff-- very subtle and only ocassionally.

My OB told me this was totally normal - at my 6 wk pp visit he said with EBF I could get normal periods, just spotting occassionally, no period etc. - it's all normal according to him.
For me personally, I spotted for a day at 7 wks pp then again at almost 4 mos pp for one day each and just on the tp (sorry for the tmi). That was it - Didn't get AF for real until I completely stopped BF at 10 mos pp.

I know some of the girls on here that were EBF got AF before 2 months pp.

It's possible to get AF that early. It's not common, bit DEFINITELY possible.

It's possible that it's returning. Some people can get it immediately, others won't get it for a year. Everyone is different. Sorry!

At my 8 week post partum check up I had already spotted, b/c I remember talking to the OB about it....as a matter of fact, it was more than spotting, like a light period. Totally normal

I've spotted a few times too. I didin't think I had a reason to be concerned.
