is it totally unfair of me?
My mom has a young cleaning girl who does an excellent job in her house. I have a 2 bdrm apt that I really only need clean 1x a month. She cleaned it about 2 months ago and today when I asked if she would do it she said "every other week?" I was like maybe. Honestly I am only asking her to do it this time bc I am preggo and need some assistance. Its just me and dh...I only need her 1x a month. do you think that is fair or do u think its not worth it of me to be asking her?

No I don't think there is anything wrong with having her come once a month.. maybe just pay her a drop more then the normal rate if she does a good job.
Also tell her once the baby comes you might need her more often.. I found it easier to clean when PG then when I was busy with the baby.

I've actually had cleaning people tell me it wasn't worth it and some took the job. Ask her. Don't set her expectations, let her decide.

it depends how busy she is. some will only take a job that is once a week or every other week, only because it fits into their schedule better. sometimes it's tough for them to have a job only once a month, because what are they doing those other 3 weeks at that time. know what I mean??

ASK HER! I wish I had the extra money for someone to come clean over here! Do it! And honestly, keep her coming for at least a couple of months after the baby is born. I only have a one bedroom apartment and I cannot even tell you how badly I wish I had someone to clean.
